This reminds me of a story involving Pablo Picasso.
At a restaurant when he didn’t have any cash to pay the bill, he just doodled on a napkin, submitted it as payment and got away with it.
There’s another version of the story where he doodled on the back of cheque, thereby avoiding having to pay - because the restaurant framed the cheque instead of cashing it.
